CARRM
3.5 hours | Online or In Person | Up to 30 participants
Connection and Regulation through Rhythmic play and Music
Learn how to implement a trauma informed, First Nations forward, early childhood adapted music therapy protocol to develop self-regulation and relational capacity in young children. No prior musical experience required.
Preparing for Prep
3.5 hours | Online or In Person | Up to 25 participants
Supporting School Readiness through Music, Rhythm and Movement
ECT educators of children aged 3–5 years will be guided in how to implement practical music and somatic based activities specifically designed to support school readiness. Domains include emotional/attentional regulation, communication, phonological awareness, numeracy, motor skills, and social skills.
Combined 1 Day Training
7 hours (1 Full Day) | In Person | Up to 30 participants
CARRM + Preparing for Prep — Complete educator toolkit
Morning: CARRM (3.5 hrs with Opening Talking Circle) | Lunch: 30 min | Afternoon: Preparing for Prep (3 hrs with Closing Talking Circle). Complete toolbox of resources, activities, handouts and playlists for both programs. Perfect for comprehensive staff training.
Embedded Training
1 week: 15.5 hours total | 3 hours per day on site
Deep integration with on-site guidance and support
Day 1: CARRM Training | Days 2-5: Embedded practice with observation and talking circles. Sarah Dunston will walk with you in learning how to embed this training into your practice. Resource Development included free.
